The NCC bike trip is back! Join us on Saturday, September 20th, to head down to the East Bay Bike Path in Rhode Island for a day of biking together. We will meet at Independence Park in Bristol, RI, and plan to hit the trail at 11 am. The path goes 14.5 miles each way but depending on the consensus of the group we can decide how much of the path to do. More information about the path can be found here: https://www.dot.ri.gov/travel/bikeri/eastbay.php.Pack a lunch and plenty of water! We’ll take a break to eat together at our halfway point.
If you need to rent a bike, Bristol Bikes shop is just down the street from Independence Park. You can call them or make a reservation ahead of time online if you’d like, more information on their website: https://bristolbikes.com/
If you do plan to rent a bike, please try to arrive at the shop around 10:30/10:45 so we can kick off our ride all together.
In addition, if there is a contingent of people who would rather walk the path together, that is also encouraged! If you could RSVP via email or post on the event page with your intention to walk, that would be great, so we can make sure we have at least 2 people to walk together.
