This is a Bike North Penn ride, in conjunction with the Partnership for Transportation for Celebrate Trails Day 2026.This ride will be longer than our typical rides (14 miles) between Parkside Place in Upper Gwynedd Township to Hatfield Borough along existing and planned segments of the Liberty Bell Trail.
For those not wanting to ride the whole distance, they can choose to ride only segments:
Parkside Place to Hatfield Borough and back (14 miles)
Parkside Place to Hatfield Borough (7 miles) one way
Parkside Place to the Lansdale SEPTA station (4 miles) (one way)
Lansdale SEPTA station to Hatfield Borough (3 miles) one way
Lansdale SEPTA station to Hatfield Borough and back (6 miles)
Riders choosing any of the one way options will be responsible for arranging their own return to their starting points.
Helmets are required for this ride
All riders are responsible for their own safety on this ride
Riders under the age of 15 need to be accompanied by an adult.
This ride will proceed at a very easy pace with no riders left behind, however riders should be confident of their ability to complete this distance of the ride AND the working condition of their bike. We will be taking short breaks at various spots along the route.
