Bike Harmon—Guided Community Ride

Join us for a fun and relaxed guided mountain bike ride through the beautiful Harmon Canyon Preserve. This beginner-friendly ride is open to all skill levels and is a great way to meet fellow riders while enjoying scenic views.

• Open to all experience levels, even first-timers
• Experienced riders from Bike Ventura will be there to help you learn new skills, share trail etiquette and rider safety tips
• Bike Ventura will have a trained volunteer from the Bike Hub present to make sure your bike is trail-ready
• Learn about VLT's conservation & stewardship work, and how to be a better steward/advocate of our trails while riding
• This event is open to ages 18+

Don't have your own bike? Bike Ventura will provide bikes to those looking to try out mountain biking. If you are looking to borrow a bike, please purchase your ticket by June 3rd, 2026.

Required Equipment:

• All riders must bring their own helmet
• If you are bringing your own bike, please ensure it is a mountain bike (preferred/recommended) or a gravel bike

Suggested Equipment:

• Bell (VLT will have some for borrowing at the trailhead)
• Gloves
• Spare tube
• Tool kit

Parking Information:

• Sundays at Harmon can be very busy. Please arrive early to secure parking in the lot, and carpool or bike in if possible.
• Overflow parking is available on the east side of Kimball Road if the lot is full. Please be mindful of "no parking" signs in the lot, and do not park illegally if spots are full.
• Parking is not permitted in the Ventura Missionary Church.
