Join us for a community bike ride to benefit the Cape Fear Shoreline Project. This ride is open to all experience levels and welcomes both e-bikes and traditional bikes. Our route is approximately 18 miles and highlights some of Oak Island’s most beautiful natural areas. Help us reach our goal of a $500 donation! What to Expect
? Scenic Wildlife Sightings
We will visit the living shoreline at Veterans Park, and we will cross the 9th Street Scenic Walkway, a known hotspot for ibis and other coastal birds.
? Special Access Pending
We are working to secure access to Fort Caswell to bike out to the Iron Wharf for an incredible view of Battery Island. This part of the route is TBD, but we will share updates as soon as we have them.
? Community-Paced Ride
This is a friendly, community-oriented ride-no racing, just movement, connection, and a shared goal of supporting coastal conservation.
? Why We Ride
All proceeds will go toward the Cape Fear Shoreline Project, supporting ongoing living shoreline and conservation efforts in our coastal ecosystem.
