This start of season meet will be at "Avenue De Caen" in Southsea just opposite the the D'day museum and we'll carry on round the corner towards the big Landing Craft from 6pm onwards on Saturday 26th of April
There are lots of VW groups on the South coast with such a fantastic variety on offer, and we thought it would be brilliant to have everyone get together to show off WHATEVER you drive and whatever your budget.
Finally meet the person who drives that Beetle you've passed everday. Or the black doodle T4 with popup headlights you admire and adore so much (ehem!😘).
cars, vans, old, and new EVERYONE IS INVITED and very very Welcome. Feel free to bring a long board or BMX or unicycle,
not an official or ticketed thing, just park up and see what's on offer.
Police will likely swing by and check we're not riff raff (any riff raff can hide in my van with me) but they're always friendly and as long as no one is causing trouble they usually just move on after a quick chat. But on that noteal couple of rules
*NO DRIVING LIKE AN IDIOT.
Ave De Caen is a jewel in the south coast car scene, don't ruin it by driving like a T**T, trust me no one will be impressed after the police/council put a stop to things in the future. It's also the reason we ALL Lost D'day car park and why we can't use it this time 😡
*KEEP THE NOISE TO A MINIMUM.
same reasons as above. for anyone who uses the words "popcorn map" or "2 step", separate parking is available at the end of Southsea pier. once you get to the end, keep going till you hear a loud splash, then walk home and have a word with yourself. there is a time and place and it's not that night 😘
