Join us for an evening of discovery at the Big Red Liquors Spring Fine Wine Tasting at The Big Store in Bloomington. On Friday, March 27 from 5–7 PM, we’ll be pouring a curated lineup of wines that capture the freshness and excitement of spring.

This year’s tasting features a special spotlight on wines from the Republic of Georgia, one of the oldest wine-producing regions in the world, with more than 7,000 years of winemaking history. Guests will have the rare opportunity to taste distinctive grape varieties that are rarely grown anywhere else. Among them is our staff’s current favorite rosé, the Saperavi Rosé from Villa Mosavali, which impressed us with its vibrant character and unique flavor profile.

Alongside these fascinating discoveries, we’ll also be opening a wide range of wines that have us thinking about warmer days and longer evenings. The tasting will include bottles such as Mary Taylor Petite Chablis, Sequoia Grove Cabernet, PlumpJack Chardonnay, Flowers Pinot Noir, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars Artemis Cabernet, Ridge Three Valleys, Mollydooker Carnival of Love, and many more—over twenty wines in total.

Whether you’re looking to expand your wine horizons or simply enjoy a relaxed evening sampling excellent bottles, this tasting is a perfect way to welcome the season. Guests attending the tasting will also receive 20% off wine when purchasing three or more bottles that evening.
