Big pond kayaks owner meet up! 16th of may 2026 Anglesey outdoors
For our upcoming event, if you want accommodation a minimum two-night stay is required, so I’ll be arriving on Friday the 15th and heading home on Sunday possible. We’re excited to announce that we may have a guest speaker on Saturday night a well known Mannta paddler with an inspiring story to share.
Weather permitting, we plan to enjoy a group paddle, ideally launching from the same spot, although we can split into smaller groups if needed. We anticipate having several coaches available to provide guidance on skills and safety while planning our paddling activities for the day.
This event is free, but you will need to secure your accommodation at Anglesey Outdoors, options include glamping pods, a bunkhouse, or camping with your own tent. There are plenty of spaces available now, but since it’s May, early booking is advisable to ensure you have a spot. Please note that I may need to limit attendance if we receive a large number of inquiries, and this event is exclusively for Big Pond kayak owners. If you have borrowed a kayak, purchased one second-hand, or obtained one directly from me, you’re welcome to join. The only exception is if you wish to bring a partner or spouse who has a different brand of kayak. Or if you are volunteering as a coach and at least got a T-shirt 🙂 but I may stuff you in one of my kayaks if ones available
