About this Event
Join us to weave together roots of community development that CDLI has been exploring - Creating Just Futures and Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD). We look forward to offering you a connection filled time spent with other community minded people.
What will you experience?
We are coming together to help eachother grow! Coffee, tea, yummy local snacks on us.
We will begin at 10 am with collective grounding using the work CDLI has been doing in the Creating Just Futures Initiative.
By 10:45 am we will be exploring the intersection of anti-racism and decolonization and Asset-Based Community Development. Exploration will include faciltiated group discussion, storytelling for change and connecting with one another in possibilities and curiosity for the future of ABCD in Calgary.
This event will be great for people who have been working in Asset-Based Community Development (in any capacity with any community). Everyone is welcome, though we will not be discussing the basics of the ABCD model.
