About the Show

Based on , 'Big Love' is about fifty brides who flee to a manor in Italy to avoid marrying their fifty cousins. The play takes the plot of the original Greek play into modern times, including such details as having the grooms ambush the brides by helicopter. While the brides and grooms wait for their wedding day, the characters raise issues of gender politics, love, and domestic violence.

About the Venue - The Irma Sandrey Theatre

The Irma Sandrey Theatre is LSTFI's black-box theater, named for the longtime student and teaching partner of Lee Strasberg.

The Theatre is located on the 3rd floor, and our historic building does not have an elevator. Early entry for those needing assistance or additional time is available upon arrival.

Restrooms are located on the 2nd floor. Access to the other parts of the building is not permitted.
