Big Island Singers Fall Concert

Big Island Singers, a 36-member chorus under the direction of Douglas Albertson, presents its fall concert series on the theme “Fire and Ice.”

The program presents a variety of vocal musical styles. Audiences will hear pieces describing mythical themes of Fire and Ice: hot passions, icy hearts, fresh snow, scorched earth. The centerpiece of the concert is a set of astounding song cycles by the great contemporary composer, Morten Lauridsen.
