About this Event
The session provides a comprehensive introduction to the statutory and pedagogical foundations of Early Years practice, equipping participants with the knowledge and confidence required to begin their journey in this specialised phase of education.
Throughout the course, we will examine the essential elements of the EYFS Statutory Framework and supporting documentation, explore the characteristics of high-quality teaching and learning in Early Years settings, and consider how a well organised and purposeful learning environment supports children’s development. Participants will also reflect on the professional role of the adult, including interactions, assessment, planning, and the creation of enabling environments that promote curiosity, independence, and progress.
This training is ideal for those taking up positions in nurseries, preschools, Reception classes, or wider EYFS roles, providing a solid grounding in what effective Early Years practice looks like and how it can be embedded from the start.
