Big Government
Big Government’s brand of indie rock weaves brass-infused power with danceworthy rhythms and lighthearted fun. Formed in early 2024, they’ve brought their unique sound to clubs, apartments, and porches around the DMV, and expanded their set of original songs along the way. Big Government’s lyrics elevate their perspectives with piercing prose, while their songwriting draws influence from artists like Steely Dan, King Crimson, Peach Pit, and the Strokes.

Girls on Toast
Girls on Toast is your new favorite girl band. Mixing serious messages with an upbeat sound, their approach to punk is reminiscent of 90s female-led bands like Hole and Veruca Salt with a silly and refreshing twist. Their lyrics are filled with frustration and reflections on relationships, while their drum beats and basslines create danceable grooves. Girls on Toast also packs a punch with their singing, creating layered harmonies with all three members. All in all, Girls on Toast is a silly band with unsilly messages.
