Big Band Sunday April 12th , 2026 from 7-9pm featuring Moonlight Swing Living History Big Band at the Carmichael Elks Lodge 5631 Cypress Ave, Carmichael CA 95608 NOTE: The Elks Lodge asked us to change our April BIG BAND SUNDAY to April 12th because of a major event at the Lodge on the weekend of April 15-17th. In May BIG BAND SUNDAY will return to the 3rd Sunday of the month.
OK … now that Tax season is coming to an end, it is time to SPRING in to a GOOD MOOD and what better way to have that happen than by dancing the night away listening to the music of Moonlight Swing Big Band. To keep you in the spirit of APRIL, Moonlight Swing will SHOWER you with fun recreating the sights and sounds of the Glenn Miller band of WW II by performing favorites like In the Mood, String of Pearls, Moonlight Serenade and many more. In honor of our brave servicemen and women the band will be attired in their vintage military uniforms. So make your plans to enjoy a slice of history while you dance your troubles away. Doors open at 6:30pm and the fun starts at 7pm and a modest $10/person donation gets you in. Arrive early for the best seating. Beverage service is available for purchase. Plenty of Free parking.
