A native of Clarksdale, he began playing at just five years old under the mentorship of Johnnie Billington. As the godson of Big Jack Johnson and a graduate of the Delta Blues Museum educational program, Sherrod represents a direct connection to the legends who shaped the blues. His performances carry the soul of the Delta in every notekeeping the tradition alive while inspiring the next generation.Backing him is The Allstars, a powerhouse group of seasoned musicians:π₯ Lee Williams Born and raised in Clarksdale, Lee started playing drums at just 8 years old and has become a staple of the local blues scene. A regular at Ground Zero, hes shared the stage with legends like Charlie Musselwhite and Bob Margolin. Today, he also gives back by teaching at the Delta Blues Museums Music Education Program and the Pinetop Perkins Foundation.πΈ Heather Crosse A respected bassist from Clarksdale, Heather provides the earthy foundation of the band. With her group Heavy Suga & The SweeTones, she has performed at major festivals and opened for icons like B.B. King and Robert Plant.
