Note: BICs and BIC-Eligible Brokers must take the BIC RE Update course. Brokers who are NOT BIC/BIC-Eligible will not receive CE credit for the BIC Update and must complete the General Update.COURSE MATERIALS: Registrants will receive a hard copy of materials the day of class. Course materials will be located in your student dashboard available for download via Canopy Campus prior to start of course.
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT: Students are required to attend 90% of this class. Students cannot make up missed time due to lateness or absences. Students should ensure they can attend the required classroom hours before registering for a class. Students cannot use the allotted 10% to leave the class early.
COMPLETION & PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT: You will not receive credit for class time and participation if you fail to adhere to the policies outlined in our Policies and Procedures Disclosure.
COURSE CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING: Canopy Real Estate Institute reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses that have not yet begun as needed. Our minimum enrollment requirement is ten (10) students. Students enrolled in a rescheduled or cancelled course that has not yet begun will be given a minimum of 24-hour notice of the cancellation or new course schedule. Students will have the option to reschedule to another course or receive a full tuition refund, if applicable. Students who cannot attend the rescheduled course date(s) have the option to be counted as absent, reschedule to another course, or receive a full tuition refund.
CE WITHDRAWALS/TRANSFERS/REFUNDS: Canopy Real Estate Institute DOES NOT provide refunds for continuing education courses. This is a private CE event coordinated by HW Legal Group. The firm will cover the cost of the course only for those who attend this scheduled session. If you are unable to attend the event, you may still complete your CE requirements by registering for another Canopy classes; however, you will be responsible for the registration fee and must select from the available public course offerings.While our general CE policy allows for a one-time transfer when a student provides written notice prior to the course date, this courtesy does not apply to private, firm-sponsored classes, as payment and arrangements have been made on your behalf for this specific session only.
