Join us for an engaging early-evening workshop at Gambledown Farm, bringing together four experienced speakers to explore how strategy, marketing and content work together to support business growth.
This session is designed for business owners and professionals who want practical insight, fresh perspectives and ideas they can put into action.
Speakers and topics
- Sam Dyer – Strategy vs Plan - Sam will explore the difference between a strategy and a plan, helping you understand why clarity of direction matters just as much as activity. This session will focus on creating purposeful, informed decisions that support long-term growth.
- Dmitrijs Meiksans – Stop trying to sell on social media…start building a community instead - Dmitrijs will share insight into digital marketing, with a particular focus on social media. He looks at how businesses are using social media like a digital billboard and wondering why it isn’t converting. Using his experience, Dmitrijs will explain how businesses have to challenge the traditional “post and sell” approach, and he’ll share why social media works best when you focus on connection, not conversion. Shifting from audience-building to community-building can transform your socials.
- Sara Merriman – Photography and corporate branding - Sara will discuss the role photography plays in strengthening a corporate brand. This session will explore how professional imagery supports credibility, builds trust and enhances marketing across all channels.
- Matt Treviss – The power of podcasts - Matt will talk about podcasts as a powerful marketing and communication tool, exploring how businesses can use audio content to share knowledge, build authority and connect with their audience in a more personal way.
Each speaker will deliver a 15-minute presentation, followed by a panel discussion where ideas are brought together and audience questions are encouraged.
