West Atlanta Watershed Alliance
Description
Help WAWA and its community partners to restore, steward, and beautify parks, watersheds, and communities on the Westside of Atlanta.
Purpose
Promote stewardship (management & service), and the morale of community.
Role
Beautify our campus by helping us remove invasive species and trash so that our natives can thrive and our community can enjoy this special greenspace!
Vibe

Please wear warm clothing that you do not mind getting dirty. Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times. Following your registration, participants will be emailed the site location, time, parking, and attire details for your tasks of the day.
Orientations will take place at your task site. Shifts are AM (9am-11:45), and PM (12:45pm-2:45pm).

Check your inbox starting THURSDAY [1/11/2026] for final communications for any updates on locations of service, lead volunteer assignments, and what to bring with you on Monday.
Work gloves, and tools will be provided. WAWA is committed to a ZERO WASTE initiative in 2024! Don't forget to bring water and a hot beverage in reusable bottles/cups, water and warm beverages will be first come, first serve. This event is rain or shine, hot or cold, please be prepared. Please do not bring pets to any of the service sites.
