BFT Summer Running Series - Getting You To Race Day Strong!

Ready to stop guessing with your running and actually train with a plan?
This 12-week Summer Running Series at BFT Lincoln is designed for both newer runners and experienced athletes looking to improve endurance, pacing, confidence, and race performance heading into the fall season.
Led by Coach Prissylla Penaherrera-Manness, an experienced runner and endurance athlete with years of race and marathon experience, this program is built to help you feel stronger, smarter, and more confident every time you lace up your shoes.
Whether your goal is:
• Completing your first 5K
• Building toward a 10K
• Improving your HYROX run fitness
• Creating a strong cardio base for fall races
• Or simply learning how to run without burning out…
...this series will give you the structure and coaching to get there.
WHAT’S INCLUDED:
• 12-week structured running program
• 3 runs per week programmed for you
• 4 in-person coaching sessions at BFT Lincoln
• Personalized pacing guidance using your 1-mile time trial
• Education on run mechanics, pacing, intervals, warmups, and recovery
• Accountability and community support
• Goal to race on September 20th (5K or 10K option) at the Golden Harvest Run - race purchased separately outside of the program
IN-PERSON SATURDAY SESSIONS - ALL SESSIONS AT 6:30 AM:
6/20 – Week 0: Run Mechanics + 1-Mile Time Trial
6/27 – Week 1: Easy Running
7/25 – Week 5: Intervals
8/22 – Week 9: Tempo + Pace Change Running
9/20 – Optional Race Day at the Golden Harvest Run at Mahoney State Park - race purchased separately.
This is coached, intentional running education designed to help you train smarter, avoid burnout, and build confidence over time.
