BFSA Ebony & Ivory Scholarship Dayla

The Ebony & Ivory Dayla is an annual scholarship event hosted by the Black Faculty & Staff Association at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (BFSA-SIUE). The event raises funds and awards scholarships to support students, focusing on academic achievement and fostering a supportive community. The "Dayla" (a play on words for "Day" and "Gala") serves as a key, high energy, Black & White semi-formal, festive soul food brunch gathering to highlight student success and celebrate the accomplishments of SIUE BFSA members. Attendees should park at the SIUE Lot B adjacent to the Morris University Center and Student Success Center.
