About this Event
As part of Heritage Open Day the British Film Institute will open the doors to the John Paul Getty Jnr Conservation Centre for another year, providing rare access to the specialist skills, technology and stores which support the conservation of the BFI National Collection.
We'll be hosting technical demonstrations detailing video preservation and film conservation plus providing mini-tours to one of the huge film vaults storing some of the collection. There will be talks from our Curatorial team as well as collections exhibitions celebrating this year's theme of Edible England.
Entry is by ticket only.
