About this Event
Our cooking segment of the festival is here to stay with Michelle ODwyer of Baytree Cooking Academy CIC! The continuously popular event teaches environmental responsibility in the kitchen with workshops focusing on saving energy and reducing waste. The workshop includes an informative cooking demonstration and sharing of food, which leads to attendees talking and connecting with each other.
Michelle O’Dwyer professional chef and director of Bay Tree Cookery Academy CIC is a not-for-profit community interest company that works to improve access to healthy, nutritious food, to help individuals and families develop skills in cooking and nutrition, to reduce food waste and to tackle poverty, hunger, malnutrition and lack of skills and aspirations in high deprivation areas of Liverpool.
