About this Event
As I gear up for the reopening of Saffron, I am excited to show you what the team and I have been working on. I'll be hosting two nights of intimate gatherings in the private dining area of our new space (formerly the back bar at Young Joni). These will be opportunities to connect over an abundant spread of soulful, nourishing fare, grounded in Palestinian roots. The ultimate dinner party: a celebration of culture, resilience, and hospitality.
Beyti translates to "my home." This is what, and how, I would serve you at my home.
Some highlights of the menu include:
Kofta Meatballs | pomegranate, tahini, brown butter almonds
Slow-Cooked Green Beans | in the style of my Palestinian grandmother
Burnt Bread Fattouch | tomato, cucumber, radishes, herbs, sumac
Seven Spice Lamb Shoulder | slow-cooked in the wood oven
Rose Baklawa | pistachio, rose, raspberry
Each night will consist of one seating, with food served family style, so plan to rub elbows and break bread with strangers! Tickets are only available as pairs, and your tickets includes beverage pairings to accompany the meal (if you would like a non-alcohol pairing, let us know when completing your ticket purchase). Pricing is inclusive of all taxes and gratuity. We are unable to accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions for these special events.
