BeYoung the Gates is back for the 3rd year in a row! A proper kick-start of an opener for the last day of the festival🔥At BeYong the Gates, we want to showcase young talent from the region, and make it available to everyone.
You don't need a ticket for Beyond the Gates to enter, this is a FREE ENTRY AND ALL AGES event.
We have 3 exiting bands on the line-up this year:
🔥Dreadmaw🔥
High energy death-thrash from Bergen. They are currently working on their debut album, and have made some of their demos available for free on Bandcamp, under an EP titled "KICKASS METALLIC MUSIC FOR YOUR AUNT". Keep an eye out on their Instagram for more music coming @dreadmaw_band.
🔥Contorted🔥
Death metal from Bergen, newly signed to Bergen label Dark Essence Records. This is new wave of old school death metal, exploring other genres of metal while keeping the rotten old school sound - brutal, intense and a punch to the guts, just how we like it. Check out their EP and lates single, available on all digital platforms.
🔥Angell🔥
Blackened death solo project from Telemark. This 18-year old multi-instrumentalist blends blackened death metal with melodic and progressive elements. His debut EP was released last year (available everywhere), and new music is on the way. He's currently getting ready to tour Norway this year, including gigs at the Inferno Festival, Tons of Rock and BeYoung the Gates.
