About this Event
What is the single most important lesson you want to pass on to the next generation?
What do you want people to truly understand about your life?
Join us Friday, April 3rd, from 11am-12pm CST for a special in-person workshop at the Larkspur Library & Learning Center where we'll explore all of these questions and more in the comfort of community.
Together we will:
- Learn the difference between a legal will and an ethical will
- Define an ethical will and recognize its purpose as a non-binding document of values, apologies, gratitude, and memories.
- Identify core values and life lessons to include in a personal values statement.
- Learn simple, engaging formats for delivering this ethical will (e.g., written letter, video recording, recorded interview) to loved ones.
Understanding how to communicate what is important to you in life helps ease surviving family members when making decisions after a death; and it's never too early to organize your wishes.
Seats are limited for this community course, so be sure to register and save your spot.
