About this Event
For University of Bristol Postgraduate Researchers and staff
What does a PhD really prepare you to do? And how can you articulate the strengths, capabilities and mindset you’ve developed through your research?
Join us for Beyond the PhD, a keynote speech, panel discussion and interactive event exploring how doctoral training equips researchers for a wide range of career paths. Drawing inspiration from recent sector conversations about the purpose and value of research degrees, this session brings together reflections on the skills, resilience and problem‑solving abilities that define the PGR experience and how this has shaped their career path.
Through a blend of panel discussion and guided reflection, you’ll gain insight into how others have navigated their post‑PhD journeys and develop the confidence to communicate the capabilities you’re building right now.
