Saket Modi, CFA, Director, Square Mile Global Consulting
Saket Modi is the Director of Square Mile Global Consulting, a London headquartered financial training and accounting advisory company. He has designed and facilitated workshops for finance professionals from over 50 countries across Europe, North America, Middle East, Africa and Asia.
Saket specialises in international financial reporting and analysis (IFRS, IPSAS), and sustainability reporting. He has extensive experience advising and training organisations on complex IFRS topics, including financial instruments and insurance accounting.
Saket has delivered courses for banks, insurers, oil and gas companies, multinational corporates, public sector organisations, and professional services firms worldwide. He was invited by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board® (IAASB®) to present on IFRS 9 Financial Instruments at a board meeting in New York, and he has also been invited as a speaker at CIMA events in the UK.
In addition to financial reporting, Saket regularly delivers courses on sustainability reporting frameworks including the ISSB Standards and European Sustainability Reporting Standards, as well as the impact of climate-related matters on financial reporting.
Saket has previously worked with Lloyds Bank, Ernst & Young and Wilkins Kennedy (now Azets). He is a Chartered Accountant (India), a CFA® charterholder, and holds IFRS certificate (ICAEW) and IPSAS Diploma (CIPFA).
