About this Event
In honor of Father’s Day, SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective Birth Justice Team in collaboration with Daddy Stroller Social Club – Louisville invites the community to Beyond the Narrative: Fatherhood, Futures & Legacy, a gathering centering fathers, father figures, soon-to-be fathers, uncles, and community caretakers who shape the lives of children and families every day.
This experience moves beyond traditional narratives of fatherhood to honor the full spectrum of fathering—care, protection, presence, vulnerability, joy, and responsibility. Through a dynamic panel conversation, expert and lived-experience speakers, and "We Inside" workshop we, will explore what it means to nurture futures while navigating systems that often exclude or misrepresent fathers. Guests will be welcomed into fellowship through shared food, intentional community building, and receive items from SisterSong's Birth Justice Care Fund.
