About this Event
Join us for Beyond the Game, a powerful and engaging panel featuring former Survivor contestants as they reflect on what it takes to endure life’s most challenging moments both on and off the island. Moderated by licensed professional counselors, this conversation will explore the emotional, psychological, and relational lessons that come from surviving adversity.
Panelists will share personal stories about navigating stress, fear, failure, connection, and growth, and how those experiences have shaped the way they show up in their lives today. Whether you’re a student, mental health professional, Survivor fan, or simply someone navigating a season of transition, this event offers meaningful insight into how we build resilience, self-trust, and community when things get hard.
This event is hosted in partnership with Vanderbilt University’s Center for Student Wellbeing and Tulip Tree Counseling, with the goal of creating a grounded, hopeful, and human conversation about what it really means to survive and grow through difficult seasons.
Tickets for this event are free, but we invite attendees to make a voluntary donation to Park Center in Nashville, a nonprofit that provides housing, mental health care, and supportive services for adults living with serious and persistent mental illness. Our panelists know firsthand what it’s like to endure hunger, exhaustion, and the uncertainty of not knowing where your next meal or shelter will come from. These are experiences they chose to face for a chance at a million dollars. In real life, no one should have to live that way. Your donation helps ensure that individuals in our community have access to safety, stability, and compassionate mental health care.
Come for the Survivor fun; stay for the wisdom that applies to all of us.
