Beyond Startup: Startup Cybersecurity Basics

OVERVIEW:

Strong cybersecurity practices aren’t just for large companies. This session will help you understand the risks startups face and how to create internal policies that fit your stage and resources. Whether you're building from scratch or tightening up your systems, you'll get practical guidance to start protecting your company’s data, operations, and reputation with more confidence.

YOUR FACILITATOR:

David Myers is a Partner at Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, where he advises startups and growing companies on cybersecurity, data privacy, and internal IT policies. With a background in technology consulting and law, he helps teams put practical safeguards in place to protect their data, operations, and reputation.

PARKING:

WORKSHOPS REQUIRE ADVANCE REGISTRATION AND ARE FREE TO BOUNCE CLIENTS AND $5 FOR NON-CLIENTS

This event is open to all entrepreneurs looking to take their business beyond the startup phase. Bounce clients, including tenants, remote tenants and monthly Generator members, can attend for free, but are still required to register. All other entrepreneurs are asked to pay a $5 fee. Seating is limited. All participants are welcomed to enjoy free coworking at Bounce for the entire day.
