About this Event
We live in a time when we know more about the nervous system than ever before - yet feeling truly regulated can still feel out of reach. Modern life often rewards constant productivity, speed, and self-override, pulling us away from the rhythms our bodies evolved to rely on. Natural regulators, such as movement, rest, nature, and community, are harder to access, while our time and attention are continually in demand.
Drawing from contemporary neuroscience, polyvagal theory, and time-tested somatic wisdom this workshop offers a balance of education and embodied practice to help you understand your unique stress responses and gently expand your capacity for regulation and resilience. This workshop emphasizes working with the nervous system rather than forcing calm - building steadiness through awareness, compassion, and small, sustainable practices.
- Explore how the nervous system responds to stress and safety, including pathways of connection, mobilization, and shutdown
- Learn to map your own nervous system patterns with curiosity and care
- Practice simple, accessible tools to support regulation and recovery from stress
- Identify ways to intentionally embed regulation into everyday life through realistic, supportive rituals
This workshop is experiential, reflective, and supportive. Participants are encouraged to bring a journal or notebook for personal reflection and integration. Sharing is always optional, and all practices are offered as invitations.
