This immersive workshop is designed for practitioners who have some familiarity with the Ashtanga Primary Series and are looking to move beyond the basics — physically, mentally, and energetically.
Whether you're working toward greater consistency, refining technique, or exploring the inner practices of breath and movement system called vinyasa, this workshop will give you tools to enrich your understanding of Ashtanga principles. We will break down the fundamentals of the Ashtanga system into its core elements: breath (pranayama), movement (asana), and gazing (drishti). We will explore standing poses and key seated postures from the Primary Series, with modifications and tips on how to use props effectively. We will also focus on the closing sequence to integrate the practice's benefits. Not suitable for complete beginners.
