About this Event
Beyond "My Condolences": How to Support Grieving Persons
3:30pm-4:30pm
Join us in person for a workshop and reflection session centering grieving persons, what real support looks like, and pathways of healing. From life transitions to transitioning ancestors, this workshop will explore forms of grief, how grief can be navigated, and how to support grieving persons in ways that really matter (beyond "my condolences"). This workshop is for people who have experienced grief and for people who want to provide meaningful, tangible support.
The workshop is facilitated by licensed clinical psychologists, creatives, and grieving persons: Dr. Munazza Abraham and Dr. Tony Camp.
4:30pm-5:30pm
Following the workshop, Dr. Tony Camp and Dr. Cincere Allah will facilitate a Sawubona Healing Circle to provide space for attendees to further share and process their grief or whatever is on their hearts.
