If you're stuck on the getting directions on your Maps, just search for the Dame Roma Mitchell Statue.
The market will take place on the lawns at and around this homegrown trailblazer's memorial.
Dame Roma Mitchell was Australia's first female judge and first woman to serve as governor of an Australian state. She was a pioneering advocate for women's rights, campaigning for equal custody, equal pay, and the inclusion of women on juries in South Australia. She was a champion of human rights and gender equality, continuing her advocacy through campaigns, boards, and foundations, attending constitutional conventions and supporting Indigenous and women's rights.
