Let's slay a Century to commemorate the Ides of March. We'll go "roamin' and take a "stab" at riding some of the local "back" roads. Whether you are an experienced centurion or want to complete your first imperial century ride, come join us. EZ PZ route. Et tu, Brute?Here are the details:
Meeting Date, Time, Location:
- Saturday, 15 March 2025, the parking lot between Augie's BBQ and the Sunken Gardens at Brackenridge Park.
- Meet at 6:30 am. Wheels Roll Time: 07:00 am.
Admin and Logistics:
- Bike in good working order, helmet, spare tubes, CO2, front/rear lights, hydration and on-the-move snacks. I'll bring a pump in the SAG--if we get someone to volunteer to SAG.
- We'll stop to regroup/rest where it is safe and convenient to do so--about every 10 - 15 miles.
I would classify this ride as for advanced riders. If you struggle to keep up with the "B or C" groups, this may not be the ride for you. If you've ridden and done well in 50 - 65-mile rides, then you should do fine.
