About this Event

A Hands On Beverage Planning & Flavor Experience

Powered by Railz Hospitality

Beverage Blending is a relaxed, hands on class designed for people who want better drinks without pressure, intimidation, or the need to memorize recipes. This experience is about understanding flavor, building confidence, and learning how to create beverages that feel intentional and satisfying whether or not alcohol is part of the drink.

Instead of being told exactly what to make, you will learn how to think about beverages differently. You will explore how sweetness, acidity, bitterness, texture, and aroma work together, and how small adjustments can completely change the experience of a drink. These are the same principles used by professionals, taught in a way that feels accessible and fun.

At its core, this class is about beverage planning. Beverage planning is the skill of designing drinks with intention so they fit the moment, the people you are serving, and your personal preferences. It is especially helpful when you are drinking less, hosting guests with different tastes, or looking for full flavor without relying on alcohol. Once you understand the framework, you can apply it to mocktails, low ABV cocktails, coffee based drinks, teas, and seasonal beverages at home.

January is a natural time for this experience. Many people are choosing to reset their routines, participate in Dry January, or simply be more intentional about how and why they drink. Beverage Blending was created to support that shift without asking you to give up social connection or flavor. The techniques you learn in this class help you stay present, enjoy the ritual of a great drink, and still feel aligned with your goals.

The class itself runs about 75 to 90 minutes and is designed to feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. You will be welcomed with a beverage, introduced to the instructor, and guided through a short fundamentals lesson before moving into a hands on blending session. Throughout the experience, the instructor will rotate, offer guidance, and encourage tasting and adjustment. There are no wrong answers here. This is a space to experiment, ask questions, and learn through doing.

Beverage Blending is open to everyone. You do not need industry experience or prior knowledge to attend. The class is ideal for curious consumers, sober curious guests, creatives, couples, friend groups, and anyone who enjoys thoughtful experiences. It is also a great fit for entry level hospitality professionals who want to strengthen their understanding of flavor and balance in a welcoming environment.

Railz Hospitality created Beverage Blending as part of a broader mission to make hospitality education more accessible and inclusive. We believe learning should feel social, empowering, and rooted in real life application. This class often becomes a first touchpoint into our larger community of events, workshops, and shared experiences.

After the class, you will receive a digital beverage guide, flavor frameworks you can reuse at home, and tips for batching drinks for gatherings. You will also be invited to stay connected through future classes and the Railz Hospitality Network.

Space is intentionally limited to keep the experience personal and interactive. All ingredients, tools, instruction, and take home resources are included with your ticket.

You do not need alcohol to enjoy a great drink. You need understanding, intention, and the confidence to trust your palate. Beverage Blending is an invitation to slow down, learn something new, and reclaim the experience of drinking on your own terms.
