🎬 Calling all Lethbridge creatives, filmmakers, industry trades, local business owners and film lovers! 🎬The Lethbridge Independent Film Society, in partnership with Arts Marvels and Screen Lethbridge, is incredibly excited to invite you to "Between Takes: Where Film People Meet."
Whether you're looking for your next gig, hunting for your lead actor, or just want to watch some fantastic local cinema, this night is built for you. We are taking the awkward guesswork out of networking and replacing it with a structured, fun, and deeply connected evening.
Here is what’s on the schedule:
🎞️ The 48-Hour Retrospective: We’re kicking off the night screening the absolute best "crunch-time" films from this past year’s 48-Hour Film Challenge.
🤝 Structured Speed Networking: Grab a color-coded tag at the door so everyone knows your status instantly

Our MC, Aziz Sani, will guide us through rapid-fire connection rounds!
🗣️ Filmmaker Panel: We’re putting local directors and crew in the hot seat to talk about the real behind-the-scenes panic moments and "secret weapons" of their sets.
🎥 Featured Screening: We’ll wrap up the film block with The Set, a hilarious mockumentary exploring the chaos behind the lens.
🎶 Live Music & Mingling: We’re ending the night on a high note with a live musical performance and final drinks!

Time: Doors open for socializing at 6:30 PM (Programming starts at 7:00 PM)
Where: The Owl Acoustic Lounge
Cost: Entry is by donation (Suggested $10-$15, but any amount is welcome!)
