About the Show
Between Seasons opens a new exhibition season in New York and brings together works by Oleksandr Anokhin, Alina Anokhina, and ceramic objects by NaturaCeramica.
Working across oil pastel, painting, and ceramics, the participants explore themes of vulnerability, endurance, femininity, and inner transformation. While the paintings focus on psychological and bodily presence shaped by lived experience, the ceramic works introduce a material dialogue with nature, time, and organic transformation. Together, the works form a shared space of attention to what exists between rupture and renewal, fragility and persistence.
The exhibition reflects on a moment of transition, both temporal and psychological, unfolding during the passage from winter to spring.
On view from February 26 through March 15, the exhibition unfolds within a symbolic temporal threshold, the passage from winter into spring. This in-between state becomes both a metaphor and a curatorial framework: a moment of suspension where exhaustion coexists with anticipation, and vulnerability with renewed belief in warmth, light, and continuity.
