Better Working with Autistic Clients, Patients, Staff and Colleagues Workshop with Jonathan Drury and Kate Salinsky
About this Event

Presenting an experiential dip into the Autism Dialogue Approach (ADA), a pioneering framework rooted in dialogue and mindfulness practices and addressing the diverse needs of autistic and neurodivergent individuals, emphasising that ‘the autism community’ includes everyone, promoting an inclusive understanding of neurodiversity.

We propose ADA as an approach that values co-creation and shared meaning-making and facilitate a compassionate critique into traditional therapeutic and coaching models, which can be driven by dominant systems of normalcy. By exploring practical strategies, we will demonstrate how ADA transforms therapy, coaching and leadership by fostering environments where neurodivergent and neurotypical individuals can connect authentically and transcend division.

Download a free 30-page guide to supplement this workshop http://eepurl.com/hiDXkn and introduces material from the new book 'The Autism Dialogue Approach Handbook: Transforming Communication in Neurodiversity'. (Routledge, April 2025).

The unique ADA framework, in development for nearly 10 years and draws on the work of David Bohm, Martin Buber, Hanne De Jaegher and Edgar Schein and many more Dialogue pioneers. Our courses explore autism experientially and by applying the healing power of dialogue and a range of transformative tools and approaches, deepen understanding in autism wellbeing, communities and in leadership. This work has empowered countless autistic people, their families and allied services to navigate their lives together with increased confidence and clarity. In this workshop, combining our expertise and your experiences, we will learn to see autism and neurodiversity through a fresh lens, and thrive - together.
