About this Event
The Better Hiring Summit is a one-day working session focused on creating better ways to hire in Chatham-Kent, ON.
It brings together small businesses, young adults (18–29) looking for entry-level work, and employment program partners to tackle a shared problem: the current hiring process isn’t working for either side.
Over the day, participants will work in groups to design practical, testable approaches to hiring, turning real challenges into real pilot projects.
Starting immediately after the summit, they’ll be put into action locally with businesses and job seekers to see what actually works.
This is part of a 3-year, Government of Canada–funded project focused on building and testing better ways to connect people to work.
