Betrayal Trauma

Betrayal Trauma refers to the profound emotional and psychological distress that arises when trust is broken within close or dependent relationships. It is uniquely damaging because it involves not only harm, but also a deep violation by those who were expected to offer protection, care, and support - relationships that should have been safe. Such betrayals can occur within families, intimate partnerships, or institutional settings.
This workshop will take place in WAVE's Nevara centre in Belfast on Thursday 20th August, and run from 10.00am - 4.00pm.
