About this Event
Look carefully, research a little, and understand the style of wines you like and you can receive a lot more than you first imagined! This class dives into the deep end by tasting the fullness of the wines, learning the character and value, and with each wine, you will receive a history and geography lesson, bringing the place and story of the wine into the classroom.
Participant Requirements:
Kindly bring your own glassware (preferably 4-6 glasses); spit cups will be provided. Given the limited seating capacity, purchasing tickets early is strongly encouraged.
All attendees must be 21 or older to participate in this event. By purchasing tickets, you confirm that you are 21 or older and acknowledge responsibility for complying with all laws and regulations regarding the consumption of alcoholic beverages. A valid ID will be required to participate.

Under $25 Wines of BLIND TASTING: You've tasted value wines from many of the best wine regions around the world, but now can you identify them in a blind tasting? "Is it $25 or $100 wine?" Taste wines side by side, made from the same grape! one sells for a value price, and the other more. Can you tell which is which and why? It may be more difficult than you think! Come test yourself and learn throughout the challenge!
Dan Dawson is a wine instructor and small business owner in Napa, California. He is the founder of two Napa wine shops: Back Room Wines and Outer Space Wines, head sommelier at The French Laundry and wine director of All Season Bistro and Wine Shop. With his wine career having begun in 1992, he has observed and contributed to the evolution of Napa Valley as we know it today.
