About this Event
Our popular Movement Ecology Annual Meeting will move to the University of Cardiff this year, under the title Movement Dynamics in a Changing World (but note, as usual, any Movement Ecology and Biologging contributions are welcome!), organised by Will Kay, Sian Griffiths, Charlie Russell, and Luca Borger.
With a series of poster sessions, keynote plenaries and contributed talks (and social events) we aim to bring together researchers, practitioners and students interested in understanding and predicting the movements, space use and distribution of organisms and their interactions. As in previous years you can attend with or without a contributed talk or poster and the event aims to give an opportunity to discover the latest developments in the field, establish new contacts and discuss new ideas. Many exciting projects, papers, special features and successful grant applications were started during our previous events, so do not miss this one!
Abstract submission and registration
The deadline for poster or talk abstracts submission is 30th June 2026, with notification of acceptance sent on 03 July 2026. If you would like to submit a contribution, please complete the abstract submission form here.
Abstracts on any aspect broadly related to animal (or plant or other organisms) movements and biologging are encouraged.
The deadline for registration is 12:00 pm BST 27th August 2026. Registration includes lunch and coffee breaks on both days and on the first evening there will be also our fun social event.
