About Bert Keely:
Bert Keely is an accomplised singer and songwriter who is a versatile guitarist, trumpeter, and vocalist. Bert has two original albums, Take Me Home (1979) and Circle Back (2001). The album Circle Back features Bob Weir (Founding member of Grateful Dead) who was a personal friend of Bert's.
Bert was also a founding member of the Flying Other Brothers, a celebrated band that played the Fillmore and shared stages with artists including Little Feat, Leftover Salmon, Country Joe McDonald, Mickey Hart, Steve Kimock, and The String Cheese Incident. The band also backed legendary musicians like T Bone Burnett, Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, and David Nelson.
About the Band:
Dr. Sandy Hughes - Bass and Trombone player of Walnut Creek has played on many continents and stages - from Sydney to Shanghai, Monterey to Monaco.
He has performed with many jazz greats such as Clark Terry, Phil Woods, Bob Mintzer, Louis Bellson, Chuck Mangione. Playing in the Stanford Band (in the 70′s with Bert) prepared him well.
Alex Stanley is a Livermore Labs engineer by day and recording artist by night, with The Morning Drive (themorningdriveband.com).
Mark Patron (Drummer) brings extraordinary chops to jazz and rock projects in and around San Francisco. His jazz collaboration with Bert has resulted in WCM Volume One, a superb album that streams worldwide on all popular platforms. Visit whatscookinmusic.com
Susan Esterly of Palo Alto has ten albums available through MagiscopeRecords.com, featuring her rock group Novemberistas! She's been featured vocalist for many of Bert's favorite concerts including Neil Young's 80th Birthday last November.
