About this Event
Spring is the perfect time to plant for the future—and to learn how the land itself guides our decisions. In this hands-on, family-friendly workshop, participants will learn how to plant berry bushes while also understanding why placement matters.
Together, we’ll explore the gentle slopes and natural contours of Beech Forest Grove to learn how water moves across the land and how contour awareness supports healthy plants, reduced erosion, and long-term abundance. Families will participate in planting berry bushes using regenerative techniques such as mulching, spacing, and observation—no prior gardening experience required.
This workshop blends practical gardening skills with ecological awareness, helping participants see the landscape not as something to control, but as something to collaborate with.
