In search of new musical inspiration, Benjamin founded his alias BernsteinZimmer.
Since then, he has been pursuing a desire to combine his musical origins, improvisation, classical and jazz music with electronic-conceptual music. A three-month trip through the USA helped him to get to know people and artists who consciously and naturally break down these genre boundaries.
BernsteinZimmer was already performing as a warm up for international well known Artist Max Cooper and Beatrice Dillon and performs in modern Ensembles as Holly Schlotts UNIQUE, with the hypnotic experimental artist Laure Boer or the VKKO Ensemble. He participated as a synth and electronic musician at the Neuköllner Oper. He is also the Bandmember of the Berlin Duo MONONOKE and Amsterdam trio FLORA SOPHI. During the pandemic the debut Album of FLORA SOPHI - If/When was partly written, recorded, produced and mixed at BernsteinZimmers home-studio in Berlin.
