Come stitch with us... one piece at a time! Whether you’re exploring new techniques or refining your craft, this all-day workshop will take you through a patchwork of creative possibilities — from decorative stitching to quilting in the hoop and beyond. In this full day BERNINA Stitchwise event (two date choices) you’ll experiment with couching, free-motion quilting, stitching on vinyl, adding zippers, embroidery, and more! Along the way, you’ll complete a stylish and functional zippered pouch — a perfect way to showcase your newfound skills. Limited spaces available: choose your date below!
This workshop features BERNINA’s top of the line BERNINA 9, 7 and 5 Series machines, along with the L 890 Serger. (Note, students will share machines in a round robin format: you will have hands-on experience on each model.) Led by nationally known BERNINA instructor Sandra Swick, you will explore a patchwork of creative possibilities — from decorative stitching to quilting in the hoop and beyond. Experiment with couching, free-motion quilting, stitching on vinyl, adding zipper, embroidery, and more as you complete a stylish and functional zippered pouch! All supplies provided (your registration fee includes a $25 materials cost.)
Join us to increase your sewing & quilting skills! Artistic Artifacts will have special event pricing for BERNINA machines in effect for participants. If you purchase a machine that day, your registration fee will be deducted from your special price.
