KÖNIG GALERIE is pleased to present two solo exhibitions by Johanna Dumet and Stephan Balkenhol, unfolding across the Nave and Chapel of St. Agnes.
In the Nave, Johanna Dumet debuts FOOL FOR A LIFETIME, her most expansive exhibition to date. For the first time, she introduces large-scale outdoor sculptures alongside a towering “house of cards” structure and 22 richly layered oil paintings inspired by tarot. Blending memory, play, and symbolism, Dumet creates a world shaped by intuition and transformation.
In the Chapel, Stephan Balkenhol presents new sculptural works that continue his exploration of the human figure. Renowned for his hand-carved wooden figures, Balkenhol’s “Mr. Everyman” captures the quiet tension between simplicity and complexity—reflecting timeless questions of identity and presence.
