Gentle guests, Herzlich Willkommen to our first annual Spring festival and our five year anniversary. Join us in our Biergarten as we ring in the spring with Walpurgisnacht, May Day, Cinco de Mayo and Mothers Day. Plenty of Bier, wurst, Music and festivities will be unleashed at our Bavarian/Franconian Bier Hall and Garten. Our event is 100% independently produced, curated, funded, DJ’d, and emceed with love and passion from a private group of like-minded brethren. The Buchner Bierhalle tradition stretches back over three hundred years in Northern Bavaria including the Weiße Hirsch (1822) Eichstätt. and Lichtenhofer Bierhalle (1886) Nürnberg. Year in and year out we pride ourselves on bringing our unique brand of gemutlichkeit including music, beer and cuisine paired with our exemplary service and dining atmosphere.

Herr Dr. Matthias Vernon, our distinguished master of ceremonies, is the Bierhalle’s oldest collaborator, having bore witness to twelve plus years of our Oktoberfest. The doctor is the constant voice of the Biergarten, spinning records, timing Masskrugstemmen, running raffles and officiating the Bierfest. Don't cross the Biergarten Boss!
Every Saturday 6PM
King Larry and the Polka Poppers. Formed in the winter of 2022 at the behest of the Bierhalle, the band is staffed by the many talented Classical, Jazz & Folk musicians that grace our stage every Wednesday of the year.
Tuesday 30th SUNSET
8:04PM Walpurgisnacht/Hexennacht This ancient Germanic Festival day honors the saint Walpurga, the great defeater of pestilence. It is also the night when thousands climb the highest peak Brocken in the Harz mountains to behold the brocken spectre and dance the night away to bonfires. The Bier and wine will be flowing as we light our own fires and throw a gothic themed dance party in the antiquarium.
Wednesday 1st
1:00PM Raising of the Mai Pole The storied tradition of ringing in the spring with a decorative giant pole covered in ribbon & flowers. The history of the spectacle goes back over one thousand years symbolizing love, life, fertility and growth.
6:00PM Mai Pole Dance Eight dancers led by The Spring Queen, Elizabeth Kaiser, adorn the Mai Pole with Ribbon.
Saturday 4th
1PM Ceremonial Keg Tapping. The honorable Brewmaster Eric Lumen of Reve Brewing, a friend of our Mayor for over twenty years has collaborated with the Bierhalle to bring this exquisite brew to life. Place your bets on whether the mayor can strike home the brass faucet in one go or will he be taking a beer shower. Cue up for a free taste of this special opening ceremonies Maibock and don't miss his dedication speech!!
Sunday 11th & Sunday 12th
6PM Busking on the Accordion by Meister Madison Taylor. Boatbuilder, Documentarian, and master of many instruments our own original day one curator of live music year round brings you the soothing sounds of the tickled accordion tableside. Busking is the traditional art of playing music to passersby for tips.
Saturday 4th
2PM & 4PM Presentation on Mai Bock Bier. (10-15 min) Distinguished brewer and Bier Historian Troy Orton gives a lightning round education in the history and brewing tradition of Mai Bock. Tableside Q&A to follow
Sunday 12th
12:15PM Grab a pen and write a note of appreciation for your mother on the gratitude wall, don a white carnation and sip bubbles
4PM . Women’s/Men’s Masskrugstemmen finals, the top 4 times are pitted against one another. The Winner is the Bergkirchweih champion, collecting a cash prize and a automatic bye to the Oktoberfest championship finals.
