We invite you to join us for a memorial service and the liturgy of Compline at the Benners family burial plot in Old Oakwood Cemetery as part of Christ Church’s 175th anniversary. The Rev. Edward G. Benners was our first vestryman and priest who was instrumental in the establishment of Christ Church in 1851. He and his wife Helen and their children are interred at Jefferson’s historic Oakwood Cemetery.
