Miriam is bravely fighting stage 4 nodular ganglioneuroblastoma.The road ahead for her is long and incredibly demanding. Over the next 18 months, she will undergo intensive treatments, many of which require extended stays in the Twin Cities. Amid all of this, the Koska family is also preparing to welcome their third child at the end of February — just before Miriam’s stem cell transplant — adding emotional and practical challenges no family should ever have to face.
